Sweatshirts in July

In an effort to ignore the insane heat outside, I've spent a good chunk of time today allowing myself to get distracted by the photos we took on our trip out to Jackson Hole, WY last July for my cousin's wedding. You're thinking...it's a picture of the sunset...how does that help you beat the heat??  But actually, this is a picture of the sunrise.  And I took it when Ruben and I got up at 5:00am to drive to Yellowstone National Park for the day.  The sunrise was insane.  I took about a million photos of it, and in the process just about lost my hand to frost bite (at least it felt that way).  I was hanging out the car window, unable to refrain from taking photo after photo, and 40 degree temperatures when moving 50+ mph is COLD.

Jackson Hole, WY and Yellowstone National Park are incredible.  If you ever get the chance to go, don't hesitate for a second.  Just go.  And get to Yellowstone early early early, when it is still cold outside and you have to wear a sweatshirt in July.
