I went on a journey through my computer today for some pictures of warm weather, because this return-to-winter weather we're having is making me cooooooooold. I've got my hot chocolate, 3 layers of clothes, and a blanket. I'm all set. I took these at my family's tailgate for the Virginia Tech vs. Wake Forest game this past fall (don't ask me who won the game - I don't remember stuff that like, but my brother, Russ, is a sports trivia encyclopedia! Go ahead - ask him anything!).
Laura and Carson are two good friends of my brother and sister-in-law, and their son Sam walked up to me and said, "Excuse me, Stephanie? Will you come take my picture, please?" Okay - not really, he couldn't walk or talk yet, but he was practically begging to have his picture taken simply by being a stud.
A gorgeous, warm day in October totally beats a cold, wet, "doesn't-feel-like-spring" day in March.
Thank you to Laura, Carson, and Sam for being such wonderful models for me to practice on. You are easily among the most genuinely wonderful people I've ever known.
Happy "I-wish-it-was-warm" Spring!
P.S. This Hokie (and Richmonder) is SO psyched about VCU kicking some serious boo-tay in the NCAA Tournament. Rock on VCU!
